What if I told you that the secrets to a successful service business are not quite as secret as you might think.  Above and beyond anything you’ve heard or experienced in the past, there truly is only one thing that is going to guarantee your Success and that is…

MASSIVE ACTION

I don’t mean to tell you that you don’t need to have proper systems in place, or that you don’t need to educate yourself in all different areas of being an entrepreneur, but rather that the ONLY way you will ever be able to stay focused and get these things in place and working for you IS by taking Massive Action.

One thing you’ll want to realize before you start taking massive action is that you don’t want it to be scattered massive action.  You want it to be focused on a specific marketing strategy or two, and consistently work that strategy until you have locked it in and start to achieve the results you’re looking for.

I’d like to start with a very powerful exercise that will show you how organize and better define your goals that leads to a pathway of success.

Grab a blank piece of paper and divide the sheet into 3 equal columns.

Now write the word: Goals in the first column, Purpose and Reward in the second and Massive Action in the third.

In your goal column you’re going to write your TOP 5 biggest goals you’d like to achieve; the ones that gets you most excited – maybe is paying off debt, creating a 7 figure income this year, buying a new house, expanding your business… whatever they are write down the top 5 goals that really get you excited.  Now, right next to each goal in the same column write a price tag or the amount of money you’ll need to earn to make this happen.

Once you’ve done that for all 5 it’s time to go to the Purpose and Rewards column and write your purpose or your reason “WHY” for each goal.

Let your mind move freely on this exercise so you can write about what your life will be like when you reach your goals. Be sure to write the emotion – and this is Key – of how you’ll feel once you reach your goals.  You can write things such as liberated, free, secure, worthwhile, confident. Again, let your pen flow here to capture the full impact of your emotions.

Now it’s time for the HOW…

In your Massive Action column – Write all of things you need to DO to achieve your goals. This part is an exercise that Tony Robbins teaches. Choose 3 income producing activities that will drive you to success then choose 1 of those things that will likely give you 80% of the results – that is the one you will want to work on first.

The key here is to focus on the one income producing strategy that you chose and to stick to it until you have learned everything about it, systemized it, locked it in and it is moving you one step closer to your goal. All else is secondary at this point keeping in mind that too many projects keep you distracted and not focused. Work on this one project until you have it locked in then move on to the second activity you chose following the same steps. This entire process can be applied to any area of your life that you’d like to improve – but for now we will stick to taking Massive Action on building profitable systems in your service business.

During this process clearly keep in mind the biggest goal your striving to achieve so you can keep the emotion and burning desire going otherwise, you’ll get sidetracked – you’ll procrastinate, put things off, turn the TV on allow yourself to get distracted. Focusing on systemizing and locking in just one income producing activity at a time will help you reach your goals more quickly.

The most effective way of using this information is to identify your emotions so you can stay connected to your goals being careful to stick with just one goal. Then everyday in the a.m. and p.m. visualize and feel the emotion of your goals, what your life is going to be like and how you’ll feel when you reach your goal. Spend about 5 minutes doing this 4-5 times throughout the day. By disciplining yourself to do this exercise daily you will become so laser focused on building your business that you will not want to be distracted from it. By making this exercise a daily ritual it will become so powerful that your business will move forward by leaps and bounds and your motivation will never waiver.

My point to you is that the biggest of all Success Secrets is that the more you focus your energy into anything, the better you will become at that specific thing.  Say for example if you wanted to become really good at basketball, you would spend a lot of time shooting hoops and learning everything you could about the mechanics of the game each and every day.  And this is no different than becoming a Massive Success with your service business.

So my friend, Get Focused… Stay Consistent…take Massive Action to learn, systemize and lock-in one proven business building system after another and watch how you begin to reach one goal after another …after another …after another…
